Thailand’s Tourist Police Bureau has produced a morale booster in the form of a 55-second video for Chinese people dealing with the 2019-nCoV coronavirus.
The video has drawn plenty of praise and shares since being posted on social media on Wednesday (February 5).Tourist Police Commissioner Pol Lt Gen Chadtha Komonwattana acknowledged that the bureau is deeply concerned about the virus situation given the long friendship between Thailand and China.He pointed out that the Chinese had sent Thais assistance and best wishes when much of the country was flooded in 2010.

BANGKOK — Health minister Anutin Charnvirakul on Friday slammed foreign tourists who refused to wear face masks handed out by the government, saying they “should be kicked out.”
Using racially charged terms in an interview with the media at BTS Siam this morning, the health minister also said non-compliant behaviors of foreigners should be reported to embassies.

Thailands sundhedsminister Anutin Charnvirakul blev vred, da han fredag delte masker ud til forbipasserende på en togstation i Bankok.
Det skriver blandt andre Bangkok Post.
Flere vestlige turister ville ikke tage imod maskerne og virkede ligeglade, og det fik ministeren til at udtale til en gruppe journalister, at de burde smides ud af Thailand.
Efterfølgende har ministeren undskyldt i et facebookopslag, hvor han skriver, at han 'mistede besindelsen'.
