Panic, as more bombs hit Hua Hin Friday morning
two more bombs exploded in the centre of the resort town Friday morning, wounding five more people.
Local department stores Hua Hin Market Village and Tesco forced customers to leave the stores, and both bolted their doors, according to a report by Thai Rath TV.
Police in Hua Hin asked the public to stay in their homes to ensure safety.
Friday's explosions occured near the Hua Hin clock tower, shortly after the conclusion of a Buddhist alms-giving ceremony held to celebrate Her Majesty the Queen's birthday and Mother's Day.
The ceremony ended at around 8am, and organisers were starting to clear the area when the first device exploded at around 9am.
Just moments later, a second bomb exploded nearby. Four men and a woman were injured in the blasts. Hospital officials said one was in critical condition.
Explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officiers were able to destroy a third bomb found planted on a motorcycle parked in nearby Wat Hua Hin about 10am.

Danskere i bomberamt Thailand: Vi tør ikke gå nogen steder

15 detainees to be charged with recent bombings, fires
At least 15 suspects detained for suspected involvement in last week's bombings and arson in seven provinces will be taken to the police Crime Suppression Division and charged on Friday, the National Council for Peace and Order said on Thursday.
Col Burin Thongpraphai, NCPO legal chief-of-staff, said the military had earlier arrested and detained 17 suspects at the 11th Military Circle in Bangkok. Two had been freed.
Arrest warrants were now being sought in the military court for all 17 suspects. The two released earlier would be tracked down, he said.
Arrest warrants would ensure they could be held for a longer period pending further investigation.
Col Burin also said he had passed more information about the bombings to the Crime Suppression Division (CSD) in Bangkok on Thursday.
The suspects would be taken to the CSD on Friday to hear the charges against them.
Last Thursday and Friday, bombs exploded and arsonist struck in six southern provinces - Krabi, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phangnga, Phuket, Surat Thani and Trang - and bombs also exploded in the nearby central province of Prachuap Khiri Khan, south of Bangkok.
All are major tourist destinations. The attacks were launched at the start of a long holiday weekend in honour of Her Majesty the Queen's birthday.
Four people were killed and 35 others were injured, including foreign tourists.

Police: 20 trained southern Muslims did tourist bombings
At least 20 people, most of them Muslims and from the insurgency-plagued South, were involved in the deadly bombings in seven provinces early this month, national police chief Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda said on Monday.
Pol Gen Chakthip said police know the meeting points of all the suspects and their travel routes before and after their bombing missions.
Most of the perpetrators were followers of Islam from the three Muslim-dominated southern border provinces of Yala, Narathiwat and Pattani. Many of them were previously unknown to police, but others were linked to violent attacks in the southernmost provinces.
He refused to comment whether any had dual Thai-Malaysian citizenship.
“The incidents appear to be the work of the new generation, as we have had no profiles of several of them. The veterans [from the southern separatist movement] may have played a supportive role. This makes the investigation quite difficult,” Pol Gen Chakthip told a media briefing.
“Officials, however, have evidence that there are more than 20 people in this network. We believe all of them received trining before carrying out the coordinated attacks.”
Pol Gen Chakthip said he did not rule out any motive, whether the draft constitution referendum or the escalation of violence from the Southern region, adding that the group "might have been hired" by others to carry out the attacks.
