Burgled for the 9th time, a house owner asks for police’s help

A nurse in Thailand’s central Ayuttahaya province has sent a message to police and thieves: enough is enough.

She has put up a cloth banner in front of her home.

“This house has been broke in for 9 times. So far the police haven’t caught anyone.”

Napaporn Khamdee, a nurse at Ang Thong hospital, has lost about Bt1 million (about US$28,570) after nine break-ins.

The 9 incidents occurred during the past 3 months.

Police have not found any suspect.

The house was locked but burglars still succeeded.

They took her valuables and broke her safety box.

She just bought a new one before the 9th break-in.

Her husband is in military and works in upcountry.

She is often on night duty and, allowing thieves to break into her house.

They left fingerprints on her belongings but this is the first time police collect the evidence.

Nappaporn urged the police to help catch the burglars.
