The fifth cabinet lineup in the government led by Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is likely to involve the removal of 12 old faces, and their replacement, as well as changes to 18 positions.

According to a report, the prime minister submitted the proposed new lineup to His Majesty the King for endorsement on Wednesday.

The tentative list of changes is as follows:

1. Yingluck Shinawatra, Prime Minister and Defence Minister

2. Gen Yuthasak Sasiprapa, Deputy Defence Minister

3. Chalerm Yoobamrung, Labour Minister

4. Phongthep Thepkanchana, Deputy Prime Minister

5. Chaturon Chaisaeng, Education Minister

6.Chaikasem Nitisiri, Justice Minister

7. Niwatthamrong Bunsongphaisan, Commerce Minister

8. Yangyong Phuangrach, Deputy Commerce Minister

9. Peeraphan Palusuk, Science and Technology Minister

10. Paveena Hongsakul, Social Development and Human Security Minister

11. Pol Gen Pracha Promnok, Deputy Prime Minister

12. Santi Prompat, PM's Office Minister

13. Weerawat Osathanugrah, Deputy Finance Minister

14. Benja Louicharoen, Deputy Finance Minister

15. Pong Chewananth, Deputy Transport Minister

16. Wisarn Techathirawat, Deputy Interior Minister

17. Sorawong Thienthong, Deputy Public Health Minister

18. Wichet Kasemthongsri, Natural Resource and Environment Minister
