Muay Thai superstar Buakaw Por Pramuk knocked out Italian contender Mauro Serra in the Thai Fight super-welterweight (70kg) tournament at Bangkok Thonburi University on Tuesday.

Buakaw grabbed his victory after beating his opponent to the canvas two times in the third round.

In the 67kg category, Singmanee Kaewsamrith beat Vatnikaj Valdrim of Belgium on points.

Buakaw has put an end to speculation of a bout with Manny Pacquiao by confirming his only booked fights after today's win are the Thai Fight preliminary final in Nakhon Ratchasima on Nov 25 and the tournament's final at the Royal Plaza in Bangkok on Dec 16.
