Protesters of the People's Democratic Reform Committee arrived at the head office of ToT Plc on Chaeng Wattana road on Wednesday morning to campaign for workers at the state enterprise to join the PDRC's planned major anti-government rally, reports said.
The protesters, led by Suthep Thaugsuban and other PDRC core members, left Lumpini Park at 10am and travelled on various kinds of vehicles on the expressway to Chaeng Wattana road under tight security.
At the ToT head office, they were received by Sajja Muangthong, ToT's deputy managing director, and staff.
After the ToT, the protesters plan to later visit the offices of the Thailand Post Company and CAT Telecom Plc, also on Chaeng Wattana road.
Mr Suthep announced on the PDRC stage at Lumpini Park last night that he would tonight announce the date for the major rally.
