A special express train running from Surat Thani to Bangkok derailed in Prachuap Khiri Khan province after hitting a pick-up truck at Pran Buri railway crossing on Wednesday afternoon, killing one person and injuring about 120 passengers, reports said.
The accident reportedly happened about 4pm.
The killed was reported to be a woman who drove the pick-up truck.
All of the passengers have been removed from the train.

Urgent: Arisman released on bail

The Appeals Court Wednesday allowed red-shirt leader Arisman Pongruangrong to be leased on bail.
He was required to deposit Bt6 million-worth assets as a guarantee and was not allowed to leave the kingdom.
