Muang Ek falls
According to TV news this morning, Muang Ek housing estate which also houses Rangsit University could no longer defend itself.
It is the last community in Rangsit to fall to the overwhelming flood sweeping from the North and has overwhelmed all industrial estates and housing estates from Ayutthaya to Rangsit.
Small vehicles can no longer navigate. Only pick-ups and military trucks can. People are evacuating from the estate. However, some residents and volunteers still fight on.
Muang Ek is north of Bangkok's Lak Hok which is also seeing rising water.
